Sunday 30 AprilChildren’s Treasure Trail

2.00 – 4.00 pm

Come and join in the fun.  Follow the treasure trail clues around the Garden to find the mystery word and receive your chocolate treats.  There will be craft activities too, and a free Children’s Guide to Plantation Garden.

Refreshments will be available (free squash for children)

£4 per child, accompanying adults £2 (Plantation Garden adult members free entry) No booking required.  Pay on the gate.

 

Sunday 28 MaySunday Teas begin

We begin our summer season on Sunday 28th May with tea, coffee and home-made cake being served every Sunday, from 2.30 – 4.30 p.m. up to and including Sunday 3rd September. Come along with family and friends and enjoy a walk around the woodland paths and formal flowerbeds, followed by tea and cake on the upper lawn terrace. Sunday 10th September is our Heritage Open Day and we will be serving refreshments from 10 am – 4 pm.

On most Sundays there will be musicians and singers to entertain you.  Details of the performers and dates will be posted on the website in early May.

 

Sunday 25 JuneJazz Picnic with the Pavilion Big Band

Bring your picnic and chairs/rug and enjoy our mid summer music event – dance the evening away to your big band favourites from Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington to Frank Sinatra and the ‘Rat Pack’.    www.pavilionbigband.co.uk

Sunday 10 SeptemberHeritage Open Day

10.00 am – 4.00 pm    Free entry for all.   There will be a full programme of music throughout the day, as well as the chance to buy souvenirs and plants, and find out about the Garden and its history.  Refreshments, including tea, coffee, filled rolls, delicious homemade cakes and scones will be available during opening times.
